The primary function for these pieces was to create pictures, stories, and other aspects of mood around them---a reverse process where the music is created first before the pictures. This is before imaginary or pre-consciousness... I would like you to put yourself as the filmmaker. Create the many possible scenarios you could think while listening to these pieces. Imagine that you are there in these exotic places where sounds are anything but pure expectations and unheard of... Just imagine...
Most of the music as earliest as 1988 ("The Bat") were first done on a crude 1/4" analogue cassette recorder---before affordable digital recorders and computers. Therefore, over the years, the master cassette recordings began to deteriorate---experiencing some 'dropouts' and cracklings. So in 1998, I have taken some of what I considered the best 'themes' and have them digitally mastered on a pre-master DAT and CD. This was considered the first 'demo' called Pre T.D.D. Thematic which wasn't for sale at the time. As soon as computers and software became affordable for me, I went back to the 'demo' and even some of the master cassette recordings to rework and create a concept album called Myths which became the first personalized commercial album (CD-R) for sale in the year 2000. The 2nd Edition of Myths finally came out in 2016 with limited quantity of 300 CDs (replication, not duplication). If interesting retrieving this limited edition, contact me. The other CDs are limited duplications (CD-Rs) which are still available if interesting.
